Shirin Adl

Shirin Adl is an Iranian artist who lives and works in the UK. She studied illustration at Loughborough University, going on to win the Hallmark M&S Talented Designer Award. She was Booktrust's official illustrator for Children's Book Week in 2010. These are some of her books: The Book of Dreams which she wrote and illustrated her-self. Shahnameh and Peaboy both by Elizabeth Laird, Ramadan Moon and Mabrook by Naima B Robert and Let's Play and Let's Celebrate with Debjani Chatterjee. Her latest book titled, Riding a Donkey Backwards (wise and foolish tales of Mulla Nasruddin) Retold by Sean Taylor and Khayaal Theatre Company, comes out in 2018
