Workshop with Michael Rosen

‘One of our most popular writers - the champion for every bored, over-drilled, tested-to-tears pupil in the land,’ (The Times), the indefatigable Michael Rosen will inspire children with his brilliant poems. Michael believes that poetry should be about ‘wide and diverse participation. Diverse verse for all!’ and he'll get the children in his workshop thinking about their own poems and give them the confidence to get writing.

Materials needed:

A flipchart or whiteboard that Michael can write on
Paper and pencils for the children

Workshop details:   

Suitable for children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6
Maximum numbers: 30 children
Length of workshop: approximately 1 hour
Please note that a class teacher should be present throughout the workshop
