Workshop with Valerie Bloom

Kevin Crossley-Holland has a wealth of experience running poetry workshops for children.

Using her own poetry as a springboard, Valerie and the children will explore and experiment with language to help the children create their own poems.

Workshop details:

Suitable for children in Years 4, 5 and 6
Maximum numbers: 30 children
Length of workshop: approximately 1 hour
Please note that a class teacher should be present throughout the workshop

Materials needed:

A flipchart or whiteboard that Valerie can write on
Pencils and paper for the children
