“A master storyteller” The Guardian
Dark Tales from the Woods illustrated by Brett Breckon (Gomer Press) draws on the stories of Abram Wood, the celebrated king of the gypsies. It was reviewed in The Times:
“Gruesome, fantastical, and hypnotic, Morden’s stories show why the fairy world will never lose its power over our imaginations.” Daniel will be performing a story, The Green Man, from Dark Tales with Oliver Wilson-Dickson (www.fiddle.org.uk) at the Olivier Theatre, London on June 24th,26th, 27th and 30th.
His picture book So Hungry is a delight, with quirky illustrations from Suzanne Carpenter. Pont Books will publish his brilliant new picture book Tuck Your Vest In in 2008.
